Being asked this question, why should we hire you? Is a great thing, this kind of question you want to be asked. You answer with the sales pitch essentially about you, give them reasons to hire you. You tell them what you have. You tell them, but you can do. You tell them what you've done, things like this, right? What your capabilities are. These are compelling reasons to hire them, to hire you.

Now, the things you get, the things that you give them, I can do this, i've done this. I have this should line up with the things that they've already told you they're looking for. So if they're looking like I said of looking for someone with 5 years experience in this, you say, why should you hire me? Well, it sounds like you're looking for somebody with 5 years experience in x and I have that. I it sounds like I'm a perfect fit. I know you're also looking for somebody who has this qualification. I've got that qualification. Not only do I have the qualification, but i've sort of studied up in that area since I got the qualification.

So II really know my stuff in that area. It says that you're looking for someone that has these skills. That that can program this language or you'll operate this machinery. I spent 3 years operating that machinery, so I know it very well. I can do that. Right? So you're giving them the things that they want to hear. And if the person you're talking to is a recruiter, they're liking this. They're sort of going down that list, going check. Right? Now, there's some things on that list that are not gonna be explicitly stated. A lot of those are soft skills. They're not gonna write on the job posting. We want somebody trustworthy, we want somebody that's punctual, we want somebody that's charismatic, because they have to deal with customers. Usually not gonna write that stuff.

So that is kind of unstated. If they stated it, everybody who came in would say I'm very charismatic. Or like now that I know that's important to you, I will try and convince you on charismatic, right? Intentionally. They leave it off, the job boasting. So they can observe people as they naturally are and see that person's charismatic, that person not so much. Right? They don't realize that I'm judging them on that. So hopefully they're not faking it so that hidden criteria. Now a lot of that, you can guess all that stuff. You want to work on being friendly, being likable.
